Preparing for Your Visit

What do I need to bring or do before I arrive?

The goal is for you to do as little as possible! However, a few small steps help me give you the best treatment:

Book Now
  • Hair: Please come with dry hair that hasn't been washed that day. The natural oils help me assess your true scalp condition.
  • Products: Avoid gels, heavy sprays, or root powders on the day of your appointment.
  • Clothing: Wear a loose, comfortable top. Open necklines are best, and please avoid hoodies so I can easily massage your neck and shoulders.
  • Jewellery: You will be asked to remove earrings and necklaces to allow for flowing massage movements.

Can I have a Head Spa if I have hair extensions?

No. For your safety and the health of your hair, I cannot perform treatments on clients with extensions (including tapes, bonds, or weave).

I'm not feeling well today. Should I still come?

If you have a fever, migraine, or a contagious illness, please stay home and rest.

FAQ

Where are you based?
Belfast Head Spa is at Kings House, 39–41 High Street, Holywood BT18 9AB, in the centre of Holywood. We're on the A2 between Belfast and Bangor, and Holywood train station on the Bangor line is a short walk away.
Have you moved from Woodstock Road?
Yes. We moved from 354 Woodstock Road, Belfast to Kings House on Holywood High Street. Same treatments, same therapist, new home.
What are your opening hours?
Thursday to Saturday 10am–5pm. Appointments are booked online or by phone.
How do I get to Belfast Head Spa from Belfast city centre?
Take the Bangor line train from Belfast to Holywood station, which is a short walk from High Street, or drive out along the A2 towards Bangor.
Why is it still called Belfast Head Spa?
We started on Woodstock Road and kept the name. Plenty of our clients still travel from Belfast, and Holywood is only a short trip away.
